The world as we know it is seriously comming to an end.
It's strange how fast time creeps up on you. Actually it's just downright scary. I remember spending the entirety of Grade 2 doing projects related to the environment. Things like drawing animals found in the rainforest that were going extinct, singing hippy songs about butterflies and flowers, planting trees, making recyclable paper....that was 15 years ago and I thought my teacher was a wackjob. I never imagined that by the time I finished school (or nearly) the world would be as damaged as it is today. The hole in the ozone layer that seemed to be all anyone could talk about then, is now the least of our worries. Montreal doesn't snow like it used to, there's a threat of twisters in Toronto, the smog makes it impossible to exercise outdoors on most summer days and i honestly wouldn't be too surprised if we had a flash flood tomorrow. I'm petrified of what this world is going to look like the day I die- or rather- that It will look any different at all. I always thought I'd witness a revolution here in North America before I passed on, now I'm just waiting for the devolution to complete itself. With perscriptions for prozac and other "anti-depressants" being handed out like candy; 5868549 gazillion channels to waste your life on; 60 hour work weeks becoming the standard and a million other distractions to chose from; who the fuck has the energy or ability to revolt or change anything? We'll just bitch about it in our blogs and then continue on with posting about how our weekend was. Mine was fantastic. I got obliverated 3 times, saw Evil Dead: The Musical and played dress-up. Here's some pictures of my outfit:

Last one's blurry- but it's the only full body shot I have >.<
